Writer + Designer
Hannah King is a graphic designer and communications professional based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She earned her degree in Writing from Fort Lewis College in 2023, where she also studied communication design.
Her work blends structured storytelling with thoughtful visual systems. With experience in real estate development, investor communications, and brand marketing, Hannah creates materials that translate complex information into clear, cohesive design.
She approaches each project with an emphasis on clarity, intentional layout, and narrative flow — building work that is both visually grounded and strategically aligned.
Art Philosophy
My work centers on the relationship between individual perspective and shared experience. Across mediums — writing, print, and design — I’m interested in how personal ideas take form and move outward into a broader conversation.
I approach creation as a process of clarification. Whether developing a visual system or shaping a narrative, I focus on translating complex or abstract concepts into work that feels intentional, structured, and accessible. Form and meaning are inseparable; design and language both carry weight.
I see art not as decoration, but as interpretation. It is a way of organizing thought, examining perspective, and offering something considered back into the world. When work is specific and honest in its construction, it has the capacity to resonate beyond its origin.
For me, art is the act of making ideas visible — shaping what is intangible into something others can encounter, question, and engage with.
